COLFAX - Dry conditions are projected across the state in coming months which will affect agricultural yield and profits.
The projection follows a USDA Water Supply Outlook Report released last week.
According to the report, a low snowpack and warmer month could cut into agricultural yields and profits this summer.
Snowpack in the Spokane basin, which includes the Palouse, was 77% of normal as of May 1, according to the USDA report.
