Annual Discover Pass fee to increase in October

OLYMPIA — The cost of an annual Discover Pass will increase from $30 to $45 beginning Oct. 1, following legislation signed into law by Gov. Bob Ferguson on Friday, May 17. The increase, passed by the Legislature in April, marks the first fee change since the pass was introduced in 2011.

The Discover Pass is required to park at Washington state parks and on lands managed by the Washington Department of Fish and Wildlife and Department of Natural Resources.
