Davenport High School junior Macrae Larmer, 17, capped a standout golf season with a trip to the 2025 Boys & Girls State Golf Championships, reflecting positively on the experience despite not advancing past the first day.
DAVENPORT - Davenport High School junior Macrae Larmer had the opportunity to compete at the 2025 Boys & Girls State Golf Championships, held May 20–21 at MeadowWood Golf Course in Liberty Lake.
Larmer, 17, earned his spot at state after an impressive season that included a 76 at the sub-district tournament. Despite not advancing to the second day of the championship, Larmer said the experience was meaningful.
"I definitely didn't place how I wanted to," Larmer said. "I felt really confident that I could make it to the second day, but the confidence went away on a bogey at hole 10."
