1B track meet begins tonight in Yakima
YAKIMA — Lincoln County will be well-represented in the state 1B/2B/1A track meet this weekend at Zaepfel Stadium, with students from Davenport, Odessa, Reardan and Wilbur-Creston competing.
The meet opens tonight, Thursday, May 29, at the stadium, 704 S. 40th Avenue. Events begin at 3:40 p.m. with the National Anthem.
The boys 1B 100-meter dash will start gun at 6:20 p.m. Lincoln County will be represented in that race by senior Chase Lutton of Wilbur-Creston. He enters the state meet with the fastest qualifying time of 11.36 seconds, along with senior Jonathon Alejo of Pateros posting the sa...
