Craig and Melodie Dowdy with "Brain Freeze," their new ice cream truck.
DAVENPORT – Brain Freeze, a company owned by Craig and Melodie Dowdy of Porcupine Bay, will be operating an ice cream truck in Lincoln County this summer.
Dowdy bought and refurbished a 1971 GMC Value Van, retrofitted it with four chest freezers, and painted the doors pink to match the custom pink seats.
Craig, a hunting and fishing guide, and Melodie, a medical researcher, "wanted something fun to do in the summertime for the community."
