Model students set example for others

HARRINGTON - Fifty students from public and private K-12 schools across Spokane Valley, Liberty Lake, Freeman, West Plains, and Tekoa received the 2025 PACE Award for demonstrating outstanding character, the Harrington School District announced Tuesday.
The awards, presented in partnership with PACE, recognize one student per school for consistently exemplifying traits such as integrity, kindness, and responsibility. Schools faced tough decisions, selecting from many students who model good character daily.
