Douglas was born to Virginia and David Womack on June 30, 1967 in Cottonwood, Arizona, where he lived until the family moved to Riverton, WY. Doug graduated from Riverton H.S. in 1985. He soon joined the Army where he was a helicopter mechanic until 1990. Doug was married and divorced twice before he met and married the love of his life, Dianne Sorci, in 1999. They remained married until the day he passed.
