SPRAGUE — A long-time resident emerged as the early frontrunner in the race for Sprague mayor, according to preliminary primary election results posted Tuesday, Aug. 5.
Lucas Becker leads with 51.49% of the vote, followed by incumbent Scooter Dearing with 35.64%. Trace De Garmo trailed with 11.88%.
Becker, 44, said the results were encouraging and emphasized his intent to broaden outreach ahead of the general election.
