Seats remain without candidates
DAVENPORT — A special three-day filing period will be held Tuesday, August 19, through Thursday, August 21, for certain local elected positions across Lincoln County that received no candidates during the regular filing period.
Accordion to Lincoln County Elections Manager Norm Caley, anyone wishing to declare candidacy must file with the Lincoln County Auditor’s Office at the Courthouse in Davenport between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. during those dates.
Declarations sent by mail must be received by 3 p.m. on Thursday, August 21, and must include any applicable filing fee.
