Treatment failure triggers court action
DAVENPORT — A man who left court-ordered treatment nearly a decade ago failed to appear for a newly mandated inpatient, prompting a $5,000 bond warrant for his arrest.
Sheldon Dennis Schmoyer, 32, of Davenport, reportedly either did not report for court-ordered treatment or checked himself out again.
His absence sparked discussion between Lincoln County Prosecuting Attorney Ty Albertson, defense attorney Dave Hearrean, and Superior Court Judge Adam Walser during Schmoyer’s Superior Court hearing Tuesday, Aug. 5.
