Fraud case ends with sentencing

Ogden sentenced to 16 months

GRAND COULEE - A Grand Coulee woman who admitted to stealing checks, committing identity theft, and participating in a series of burglaries with her partner was sentenced Tuesday, Aug. 12, in Lincoln County Superior Court.

Superior Court Judge Adam Walser handed down a 16-month prison sentence to Brittany A. Ogden, 42, followed by 12 months of community custody.

Ogden changed her plea and pleaded guilty to two counts of first-degree identity theft and two counts of second-degree theft, which were combined for sentencing.
