DAVENPORT - A Davenport woman accused of bringing drugs into the Lincoln County Jail was arraigned Tuesday, Aug. 26, in Lincoln County Superior Court.
Bobbie Jo Edwards, 49, originally faced one count of possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver and one count of second-degree introducing contraband.
Deputy Prosecuting Attorney Bruce Cox filed a motion to dismiss the felony charges without prejudice, saying the case will instead be handled in District Court. Edwards agreed to be represented by public defender Dave Hearrean.
