Festival brings farming past to life

DAVENPORT - The 25th annual Vintage Harvest Festival, held Sept. 6, at Todd Guhlke's wheat farm off Highway 2 at the Red Barn, drew hundreds to celebrate Lincoln County's farming history.
The free event featured vintage machinery demonstrations, a car show by the Road Knights Car Club, live music by Hawk Creek Band, and food from an FFA lunch and Sonnenberg cateredHarvest Dinner for a fee. Donations for a Button to Ride supported the Lincoln County Historical Society.
