No school will be held in the Level district, northeast of Davenport, this year. A school bus will be operated to transport students in the area to school in Davenport.

The wheat market has dropped this week and this morning’s quotations are $1.35 for Bluestem, Baart and Marquis. Not much wheat has been sold in this section but reports are that large sales have been made along the Milwaukee line.
