DAVENPORT - A Fruitland man charged in connection with a camper burglary received a 45-day jail sentence Tuesday, Sept. 9, in Lincoln County Superior Court after reaching a plea deal with prosecutors.
Andrew Lee Martin, 44, pleaded guilty to first-degree vehicle prowling, while charges of second-degree theft and malicious mischief were dismissed. His offender score was calculated as one.
The state recommended 45 days in jail, with restitution left open for 180 days.
"I don't necessarily have to follow the recommendation," Judge Adam Walser said from the bench.
