Screaming Eagles get shutout in soccer opener

Peterson paces Bulldogs in second half

REARDAN – The Screaming Eagles girls soccer team lost its first game of the season 5-0 to visiting Okanogan Tuesday, Sept. 9 at Joe Johnson Field.

After losing five players to graduation, including Noelle Raczykowski who now plays soccer at Eastern Washington University, Reardan fielded an inexperienced team against the Bulldogs.

Okanogan was led by talented eighth-grader Olivia Morrison who scored two minutes into the game and two more times later in the first half to give the Bulldogs a 3-0 lead at the intermission.
