Motorcycle rider struck by vehicle
SOAP LAKE — A 36-year-old Ephrata man was killed in a crash on Wednesday, Sept. 10, on State Route 28 about nine miles east of Soap Lake, according to the Washington State Patrol.
Troopers said Jesse A. Perez was riding a 2004 Harley-Davidson motorcycle eastbound when he lost control for an unknown reason around milepost 62.
According to the Washington State Patrol, Perez was ejected and landed in the eastbound lane. His motorcycle continued into the westbound ditch, where it came to rest.
