REARDAN – The Freeman Scotties hit the pitch against the Screaming Eagles on Tuesday, Sept. 16 and showed why they were the 2024 2B girls state soccer champions. In a game shortened by 20 minutes because of the "Mercy Rule," Freeman won 11-0.
The Scotties' offensive attack was relentless from the opening whistle. They kept the Screaming Eagles on their heels throughout the game. The Scotties had 38 shots on goal compared to Reardan's two.
Reardan goalie Lacy Collier thwarted the onslaught of shots the best that she could, recording 17 saves.
