All Davenport businesses will close from 3 p.m. until 4:45 p.m. so that all may attend the Football game between Davenport and Cheney. The game will be at the Fairgrounds.

Pioneer farmer, John Nichols, has leased his farm just southeast of Davenport. An auction will be held for stock, personal property and machinery.

A two color light system will be installed at the rail crossing near the depot in Odessa. The town and the Great Northern railway company are finally in agreement about the necessary signal.
