WENATCHEE — Two Lincoln County journalists were recognized for their work last year in newspapers.
Record-Times Editor Olivia Harnack and freelance reporter/photographer Byrne Bennett were both recognized for their photography on Oct. 4 during the annual Washington Newspaper Publisher Association gala.
Harnack won second place in portrait photography for “Top Dog,” a photo of the newspaper mascot, Winnie, the miniature dachshund, standing beneath a much larger dog. The image captured the small dog’s “big” attitude and the big dog’s nonchalance.
