Food pantry moves to temporary location

REARDAN – When the R Store closed its doors on Sept. 15, the local food pantry was displaced from its space inside the building. On Oct. 4, a cadre of We C.A.R.E. (We Care About Reardan Edwall) volunteers moved the food pantry to a temporary location inside a local resident's shop at 310 S Lake Street.

We C.A.R.E. coordinator Virginia Henderson said the pantry offers perishable food, including farm eggs, frozen chicken and ground beef, and also personal items.
