Dr. O. W. Johnson completed a deal where he purchased the frame building two doors east of Brown & Rummers tailor shop on Morgan St. in Davenport.
W. H. Hall of Rocklyn killed a lynx weighing 26 pounds about three miles west of Davenport on the Central Washington right-of-way. Mr. Hall collected a $5.00 bounty from the county auditor for the animal.
The Odessa English Congregational ladies aid met at the church parlor last week with about 30 members present. The usual routine of business was followed by a social session.
