DAVENPORT - The Davenport Gorillas claimed an 8-0 mercy-rule win over the Kettle Falls Bulldogs in a home soccer match Tuesday at Hering Field, displaying offensive balance and lineup flexibility.
Davenport led 5-0 by halftime and added three more goals in the second half to end the match early. Sophomore Charlotte Soliday scored first at 4:00 off an assist from senior Glenna Soliday, and the pair connected again eight minutes later. Glenna Soliday then scored twice more - at 14:00 and 28:00 - while sophomore Fiona Stozyk added a goal at 37:30.
