First quarter stalemate; Takes 33-0 loss
REARDAN – What started out as a defensive struggle turned into a rout as the visiting Asotin Panthers football team scored 26 second quarter points on its way to a 33-0 win over the Screaming Eagles on homecoming night, Friday, Oct. 10.
The game's first quarter was a stalemate as neither Asotin nor Reardan had success moving the ball down the field. Everything changed in the second quarter when Cody Ells, the Panthers' dual threat playmaker, fielded a Levi Collier punt and jogged into the heart of Reardan's punt coverage team, found a gap, and sprinted 67 yards for the game's first score.
