Screaming Eagles' grit unbroken

REARDAN - The Reardan Screaming Eagles endured a tough stretch in Northeast 2B League soccer, falling in three close matches against Kettle Falls, Davenport and Chesterton Academy of Notre Dame.
On Tuesday, Oct. 21, Reardan fell 3-2 to Kettle Falls in a penalty shootout after a 1-1 draw through regulation and overtime at Joe Johnson Field.
Kettle Falls senior Chloe Goodall opened scoring in the 21st minute, and Reardan's sophomore Chasyn Waters equalized early in the second half. After two scoreless overtime periods, Kettle Falls converted three penalty kicks to Reardan's two.
