REARDAN – The St. George's girls and the Freeman boys cross-country teams earned top honors at the District 6 NE2B League Cross Country Championships, Friday, Oct. 17 at Reardan High School's home course on Seven Mile Road north of town.
The Dragons dominated the girls meet by placing four runners in the top 16 to earn 39 team points. Second place Chewelah scored 64 points, followed by Freeman (76), Asotin (82), Newport (87) and Colfax (124).
Neither Davenport nor Reardan fielded a full complement of runners (5) in order to accumulate a team score.
