Screaming Eagles fall, 44-7, to Freeman

ROCKFORD - It only took the Scotties three plays to get on the scoreboard.

And the 22-yard pass from senior quarterback Logan Schultz to senior wide receiver Daniel Smith 53 seconds into the Homecoming game set the tone for Freeman to rout the visiting Reardan Screaming Eagles, 44-7, on Friday night, Oct. 17.

With a PAT from kicker Jaydan Oty, Freeman took a 7-0 lead.

Freeman's next possession took the ball down to the 13-yard line of the Screaming Eagles, where the defense halted the drive.

But Oty added another score, kicking from the 20 yardline for a 30-year field goal. And with 4:42 left...
