State delays halt prosecution
DAVENPORT — A man accused of two counts of first-degree rape saw his case dismissed Tuesday, Oct. 28, in Lincoln County Superior Court.
William Zackary Carroll, 33, of Spokane, was released from custody the same day. The case was dismissed without prejudice on the state’s motion, which also terminated protection orders.
According to court documents, Lincoln County Prosecuting Attorney Ty Albertson cited that the State has not yet received evidence back from the Washington State Crime Laboratory, leading to the dismissal.
