Minor injuries reported in pickup crash
A 2024 Chevrolet Silverado overturned about 30 feet off Teel Hill Road North on Wednesday, Nov. 12, after rolling into a ditch when driver Jonathan Everett, 42, reportedly fell asleep behind the wheel.
DAVENPORT - A local father and son walked away with only minor injuries after their truck rolled over Wednesday afternoon, Nov. 12, on Teel Hill Road North.
According to Lincoln County Undersheriff Jesse Allen, Jonathan Everett, 42, was driving a 2024 Chevrolet Silverado southbound with his 13-year-old son, Colton Everett, when he reportedly fell asleep behind the wheel around 2:28 p.m.
The truck veered off the gravel road, rolling roughly 30 feet into a ditch before landing on its top.
Both occupants were wearing seatbelts, and airbags deployed, Allen said.
No drugs or alcohol were involved....
