Lions announce Peace Poster winners

DAVENPORT - The Davenport Lions Club announced the winners of its 2025 Peace Poster Contest, selecting Raylee Murdock, an eighth grader at Davenport Middle School, as this year's first-place winner. Her poster, designed around the theme "Together as One," depicts the world surrounded by interlocking puzzle pieces featuring different national flags.

Visual arts teacher Kathleen Posey said Murdock's work stood out for its detail and interpretation of the theme. Murdock's poster now advances to district-level competition.
