DAVENPORT - The Gorillas boys basketball team overcame a halftime deficit to erupt in the fourth quarter against Tonasket, then followed with a commanding home win over Kettle Falls.
In the most recent game Tuesday, Davenport defeated Kettle Falls 60-42. The Gorillas led 15-11 after one quarter, 37-22 at halftime and 53-29 entering the fourth.
Davenport coach Matt Henry credited improved defensive focus.
