DAVENPORT - Davenport dominated the court Friday, Dec. 19, building a commanding lead en route to a 76-53 win over St. George's.
Caige Colbert scored 31 points and pulled down 17 rebounds to pace the Gorillas. Colbert scored 14 points in the first half, while Bennett Wagner added 11, fueling a scoring surge that gave Davenport a 25-point lead midway through the second quarter. The Gorillas crashed the boards and out-hustled the Dragons, with Colbert grabbing 10 of the team's 18 rebounds to help secure a 40-18 halftime advantage.
