Welcome to my kitchen

Happy New Year! When this issue is in print it will be the new year. I like to start the new year with a pantry reorganizing session and gather together items that either need using up soon or won’t get used by the pull date and get them donated where they will be used.

I have finished up repurposing Christmas dinner leftovers into soups and casseroles to have on hand when needed. Now a head start on some snacks, cookies and dips for Bowl Game season. Cranberry Teacakes are a butter cookie with flavored gelatin as part of the sugar and garnished with whole berry cranberry sauce.
