Court sets trial dates; pleads not-guilty
DAVENPORT — An Odessa man was arraigned Friday in Lincoln County Superior Court on charges of assault and property damage.
Jacob Michael Bergstrom, 34, of Odessa, faces second-degree assault by strangulation and second-degree malicious mischief causing damage exceeding $750, according to court records. Bergstrom pleaded not guilty.
He is scheduled to return to court for a readiness hearing on Jan. 27, 2026, at 10:30 a.m., with a jury trial set for Feb. 18 at 9 a.m.
Court documents show he was appointed public defender Dave Hearrean. The trial is expected to last approximately two days.
