ROYAL CITY — Cashmere captured the team title at the Royal Christmas Tournament on Saturday, topping a field of nearly 30 teams with strong performances across multiple weight classes with Davenport finishing sixth with 104.5 points, earning one championship, one third-place finish and one fourth-place medal in a tournament where only top-four placers scored team points.
Cashmere tallied 199.5 points to edge Tonasket with 176 points and host Royal with 175 points. The Bulldogs claimed three individual championships along with two runner-up finishes and two fourth-place medals.
