Justin Vaughn blows past his defender in the Screaming Eagles' romp over Peninsula in the Lions Club Christmas Tournament.
REARDAN - The Screaming Eagles' boys basketball team defeated Peninsula (Gig Harbor) 69-46 in the 79th annual Reardan Lions Club Christmas Tournament on Dec. 29.
In the game's opening minutes, it appeared the Seahawks' superior height might be too much for the Screaming Eagles to deal with. Peninsula racked up six fast points under the hoop and were suddenly up 8-2.
