REARDAN - The Screaming Eagles' girls basketball team defeated Lakeside 57-38 in the 79th annual Reardan Lions Club Christmas Tournament on Monday, Dec. 29.
The Screaming Eagles' fast-paced play and strong defense proved dominant as they controlled the backboards and disrupted passing lanes. Reardan grabbed 35 rebounds and turned Lakeside turnovers into points. The Screaming Eagles deflected 11 passes and had 9 steals in the game.
Reardan led 19-9 after one quarter and 27-16 at the half. It extended its lead to 24 points en route to the 57-38 win.
