REARDAN – An undermanned Screaming Eagles' wrestling squad struggled to fill several weight classes, resulting in seven forfeited matches in their meet with Newport on Wednesday, Jan. 7. The Grizzlies won the meet 58-24.
Despite the forfeits, the Screaming Eagles found success in three weight classes. Terry Ough (113 pounds) started the night strong for Reardan with a win by fall over Alex Garris.
Owen Pendell (138 pounds) and Nate Pendell (165 pounds) secured victories by pin over their Newport opponents, Tyson Nunley and Markus Teeples, respectively.
