Community tips lead to arrest
ODESSA — A woman wanted in the drug overdose death of a Ritzville man has been located and taken into custody in southern Lincoln County.
According to the Adams County Sheriff’s Office, Brittney Marie Jones, 35, was apprehended after Odessa police followed up on community tips that led authorities to a specific residence.
Adams County Sheriff’s Office Cpl. Cale Yount, the lead investigator in the case, said detectives had established probable cause for Jones’ arrest prior to her apprehension.
