Bea was born in Havre, Montana, the daughter of Henrietta and Bernard Robeck. She had three brothers: Robert, Clinton and George. At the age of 13 her family moved to Everett, Wash.

One of the hardest things for Bea to adjust to was going to school with over 100 students in her grade, when she came from a little country school with less then 10 students. She graduated from Everett High School and then the University of Washington with a degree in Dietetics, followed by an internship to be a Dietitian.
