DAVENPORT - The Davenport/Liberty Launch Academy Gorillas rallied for a 37-29 nonleague boys wrestling victory over Northwest Christian on Thursday, overcoming forfeits at 150 and 157 pounds that surrendered 12 team points.
Northwest Christian built an early lead with pins from Kyler Parry (106, 1:28 over Lincoln Holmberg), Roman Goulet (120, 2:26 over Parker Bundy) and Micah Rocha (126, 1:07 over Lincoln Hoff), plus a 18-0 technical fall by Nakoa Rocha (132, 4:40 over Daman Gale).
