EDWALL - The Christian Heritage Patriots showed resilience in a close contest but fell short against Spokane Classical Christian School in a girls high school basketball game Thursday night.
The Patriots trailed 10-4 after the first quarter, 22-12 at halftime and 28-23 entering the fourth. They narrowed the gap to three points in the final period before Spokane Classical Christian pulled away for a 39-33 victory.
Christian Heritage coach Adrienne Benner praised his team's effort throughout.
