SOAP LAKE — The Odessa Tigers rallied from an early deficit to edge the host Soap Lake Eagles 31-29 in a nonleague boys high school basketball game on Jan. 28.
The Tigers trailed 7-10 after the first quarter and 13-16 at halftime. Soap Lake held a slim 20-19 lead entering the fourth quarter. Odessa outscored the Eagles 12-9 in the final period to secure the victory.
Odessa coach Deric Schmierer praised his seniors for stepping up in the clutch.
