REARDAN - The lights are back on at the Reardan Store as it reopened Feb. 6 under new owner Raj Singh, bringing a clean, bright, and roomier look to the longtime community fixture that had been dark since September.
Despite the former owner filing for bankruptcy and selling, a stream of customers walked the aisles, expressing surprise at the low price of bread, eggs and milk and the freshness of the produce. At lunchtime, over 50 students from the high school flooded the store to buy chips, candy, and drinks.
