Screaming Eagles advance in tournament

REARDAN - On paper, it looked like a mismatch. Lake City (Coeur d'Alene) has 1,550 students. The Screaming Eagles have 200. On the court, the numbers didn't matter. The Reardan girls used a suffocating defense to pull away from the Timberwolves for a 46-30 victory on Feb. 3.
Tenice Waters scored 13 points in the first half, and Rylynn Green added eight as Reardan took a 24-12 lead into halftime.
The Screaming Eagles opened the third quarter with the first six points to extend the lead to 30-12, but the momentum didn't last.
