SPOKANE VALLEY - Reardan built an early advantage but could not hold on down the stretch, falling 53–49 to Northwest Christian in a showdown for first place in the District 6 2B Girls Basketball Tournament on Feb. 21 at West Valley High School.
The high-octane Screaming Eagles dominated the Crusaders early. Their hustle and swarming defense disrupted Northwest Christian's tempo, forcing several turnovers and hurried shots. Tenice Waters provided the early firepower, scoring nine points as Reardan jumped out to a 14–7 lead.
