A move has been started to open Snoqualmie pass. There is currently 3 to 4 feet of snow at the summit. The state highway department wants to wait until June 1 to attempt to open the pass.

The state patrol is on a mission to find and fine motorists with glaring headlights. Those who are in doubt about their headlights should take care to have them adjusted properly.

The Model Steam Laundry of Davenport has purchased a new Star delivery truck and will start a route visiting Harrington, Odessa, Wilson Creek, Hartline, Almira, Wilbur and Creston.
