Davenport youth wrestlers medal at Gonzaga

SPOKANE — Eleven of 23 Davenport Gorilla Grapplers earned medals Saturday, March 7, at the Gonzaga Prep youth wrestling tournament.

The event drew 616 wrestlers ages 5-14. Medalists were first-place finishers Elias Wilkie, Ridge Gunning and Kinzlee Brown; second-place finishers Heaton Hurt, Waylon Williams, Mackenzie Fisk, Noah Carrell and Penny Strite; and third-place finishers Oliver Fisk, Wolfgang Mabney Khostyk and Otto Meghan.

Parents and coaches said they were proud of all the wrestlers who participated....
