Assault reported at tavern

HARRINGTON — A man was punched in the face during an altercation at the Harrington Haus Restaurant, causing him to fall and bleed from the head, according to the Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office.

Deputies responded to the tavern at 14 S. Third St. shortly after 6:45 p.m. March 19 following reports of the assault. The suspect, described as a man with dreadlocks, fled the scene on foot. An ambulance was called for the victim, who was transported to Lincoln Hospital.

Deputies located the suspect at a residence on Third Street in Harrington.
