Artist to teach adult watercolor course

HARRINGTON —A new four-week adult watercolor painting class at the Harrington Public Library filled to capacity almost immediately, bringing professional-level art instruction back to this small rural community where such opportunities are rare.

Local artist Shelly O. Haas is teaching the series. Participants will create four original 9-by-12-inch paintings while learning techniques through direct observation of natural objects provided each week. All supplies are included, and each student will take home their finished artwork along with a quality paintbrush.
